I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Rome, Lyon and San Diego, working on the locomotion of microorganism in low Reynolds number fluids with Roberto Di Leonardo in Rome and Eric Lauga in San Diego.
In 2013 I moved to Bristol as a Ph.D. student, working under the supervision of Jens Eggers and Tanniemola Liverpool on the Nonlinear Dynamics of Active Liquid Crystals. In 2016 I obtained a Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development, and a Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Garden Planning, Establishment and Maintenance from the Royal Horticultural Society. Since 2018 I live in Exeter, where I teach Physics and Electronics. and I experiment with No Dig and Forest gardening. |
